Arestin is an antibotic (minocycline hydrochloride)  that is easily placed to the infected gum around teeth to treat periodontal disease and help promote healing after scaling and root planing (SRP) procedure.  Your dentist will recommend the sites that Arestin will need to be placed.

Arestin is a small amount of powder that is adminsitered qucikly and easily. Application is comfortable.

Arestin is indicated as an adjunct to scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures for reduction of pocket depth in patients with adult periodontitis.
